IMPORTANCE OF NAMSAKEERTAN-2SBOI Group <, saibabadivine , saigroup_borivali_samithi

SAI RAMs,

This is in continuation of my earlier posting. Why people do not observe prescribed discipline during Sai  Bhajan sessions? Let us  introspect over this. Most of us think that Swamy is at Prashanti Nilayam only and that he will not know as to how we behave during Namsankeertan sessions.  We are wrong in assuming that Swamy does not visit Bhajan sessions. Swamy has Himself declared that whenever and wherever Bhajan sessions are taking place he is physically present there. Simply because we  are not able to Swamy in physical form with our physical eyes during Bhajan sessions, we can not assume that  He is not present at the Bhajan session.  Let us view Bhajan sessions as an appointment with Swamy. Let us feel the prescence of Swamy in the Bhajn Hall or room. Let us refrain from leading Bhajans if we have no sense of Music, good and pliable voice, voice modulation, rhythm etc. etc. Swamy himself attaches more importance to giving chorus and not to leading Bhajans. Most of us are eager to lead Bhajans but are not willing to  give chorus and attend Bhajan practice sessions under a competent Bhajan Guru. In some Bhajan centres prior rehearsals are taking place before the actual Bhajan session takes place. Lead singers are shortlisted after formal audition. Anybody and everybody should not be allowed to lead Sai Bhajans. Again, lead singers should not sing with an eye on applause from audience etc.  Further, Bhajan session is not a forum  for competetion with other lead singers. We sing Bhajans not for the sake of others but for our own self. There is no place for ego or compacency in Sai Bhajan sessions.

(to be continued)
