The Ten Sikh GurusVaisakhi is elebrated as a "Festival of Happiness" all over India and specially in the large farming community in the states of Punjab and Haryana. Farmers are loaded with cash by sale of Rabi (winter) crops and thus they celebrate this festival as a fruit of their hard work.Dear readers, it must be surprising to you why I am writing all this on SAI TERE HAZAARON NAAM blog. The reason is that this festival is associated with me also. Basically I am Sikh by caste and our family business is farming. Since childhood, I used to celebrate Vaisakhi with great enthusiasm with my family and those moments have settled in me

deeply. This is one importance of this festival from farmers stand point and I would like to highlight it importance from religious stand point too in this post. I have heard about our Dharam Gurus from my parents and grandparents. At that time I did not know anything about Shirdi Sai Babaji. I was associated with Shirdi Sai Babaji in the year 1996, but before that as Sikh I was following rules and rituals related to my community and still it is so. Even after being picked up by Shirdi Sai Babaji, my thoughts and beliefs did not change. Indeed, I found Shri Guru Nanak Devji's teachings and philosophies similar to Baba's teachings and philosophies. It is strange but a true fact that "Sai" word is present at many places in "Shri Guru Granth Sahibji" (Holy Book of Sikhs). Gurubani was written by all Ten Gurus and many other saints of

their time. Shri Guru Shri Gobind Singhji collected all religious poetries together and compiled it in one Holy Book (called "Shri Guru Granth Sahibji"). Shri Guru Nanak Devji has laid emphasis on equality of all religions and the same has been preached by Shirdi Sai Babaji. This is just one example of Their Common Philosophies. They Both comprehend, further more, to simple practices which can be followed to lead life while progessing on the path of spiritual attainment. So it is my belief that Shirdi Sai Babaji is an incarnation of Shri Guru Nanak Devji and there is least difference between the Two. It sometimes seem strange to me how Shirdi Sai Babaji chose me for spreading His Leelas through my voice and made me write bhajans for Him. We are unique and follow different religions, but are united here with the name of "Sai Babaji". Thus His method of spreading the universal message "Sab Ka Malik Ek" - God is One is very strange. Shri Guru Nanak Devji said "Ek-Om-Kar" which means God is One, all His life. Thus both Gurus gave us one and same mantra. Hence in my opinion Shri Guru Nanak Devji is Sai Babaji and Sai Babaji is Shri Guru Nanak Devji. They both are equal.......Read More
