The second day of programmes by the Andhra youth consisted of distribution of material to the needy and group songs. Love in Action...Distributi on of Implements, Musical ProgrammeJune 20, 2009“Prema Vahini†that was set in motion yesterday continued to flow, with much more vigour and devotional fervour. After an entertaining display imbued with the core essence of Bhagawan’s message of love and service, this evening the stage was set for a practical demonstration of His Divine Love.Thirty seven gents and fifty ladies, all academically unqualified, from various districts of Andhra Pradesh were identified as beneficiaries of value addition in the form of implements that could help them to earn daily living. These implements included electrical kits, iron box, barbar kits, blacksmith kits, plumbing equipments, telephone coin boxes, two-wheeler mechanic tool kits, bicycles, sewing machines, flour grinding machines, computer, chalk-piece moulds, wet grinders and kalankari printers, etc.

Kalamkari is an art form of hand printing or block printing normally done on cotton fabrics using only vegetable dyes or natural colours. Some of the youth were trained in this art form by a professional from chittoor, winner of Limca Book of world records. Apart from these implements, value additions were given in the form of certificates of sponsorship for call centre training, certificate of sponsorship for Polytechnic Course, Computer training at NAC on General works, supervision in construction industry, Basic computer training with additional accounts and tally package, spoken English and personality development etc. As their names were called out these beneficiaries came forward one after one, received the implements from the organizers after paying obeisance at His Divine Lotus Feet, symbolically offering rose flowers. Sri Ramana Reddy, the state Youth in-charge in a brief talk introduced the service activities being undertaken by the

youth in different parts of the state. Expressing gratitude, seeking Divine guidance, the youth leader reiterated the fraternity’s commitment towards social development carrying the baton of His Message to the masses. The hapless, downtrodden, till now underprivileged get a shot in their arms, rejuvenating their lives leading them to a better tomorrow. Receiving implements in His Name, in His Divine Presence with His Blessings would definitely mark these lives with brighter and sunny days. Lives that have been overshadowed owing to lack of proper guidance, initiative and education get the much needed fillip, raising them with self-confidence, teaching them to play the game of life safe, sound and resolute. With Bhagawan’s ever watchful eyes constantly guiding and guarding them, one could definitely hope more and more of such initiatives enlivening the Divine ‘desire’ that was born out of His Sankalpa for a better world, for a peaceful

world, for a world with Unity. The grand finale was a with a bouquet of songs dedicated at His Divine Glory, Sri Sathya Sai Avatara Vaibhavam, titled Sathya Sai Sudha Lahiri. With a devotional surge outpouring in gratitude, The Youth sang in chorus, Oh! Lord of thousand moons, accept our thousand salutations; we will perform abhishekam at Thy Lotus Feet with our tears of joy on this happy occasion. In a series of songs, various themes, namely, the glory of Bharat, Lord Sai as love walking on two feet, the efficacy of His Divine Name, the beauty, serenity and sanctity of Sathya Sai’s Gokulam on the banks of River Chitravathi, Sai – The Lord of all Faiths, Sathya Sai – The Divine Mother, Bharat and National Integration and the greatness of the holy land were covered lifting the pitch of devotional fervour and ambience to exalted heights. “Vande Mataram, Sundara Bharatamâ€, “Nee Prema Vaibhavam Nayanotsavam†were some of the popular

numbers that hit the right chord lifting the mood of devotees to greater devotional level livening up the twilight into heavenly heights bringing joy unto thousands of hearts.Bhagawan urges us to take one step towards Him so that He could reciprocate with a hundred towards us. This Divine assurance is not a just maxim, but indeed a practical reality that has been tested and proven by devotees around the world. The beautiful valedictory evening turned out to be most enlivening in terms of His unbounded love for the Youth for their all out devotion and dedication. After the bouquet of songs dedicated at His Divine Glory, safari pieces and sarees were distributed to all the singers. Subsequently, Bhagawan specially called for the three male singers, and with usual wave of His hand materialized not one, not two, but three identical emerald green rings for the singers. Two were given to two of the singers and the other one was presented to the

composer cum director of the entire cultural presentation, Mr. M.S. Prakash Rao. Arathi was offered and most unexpectedly Bhagawan indicated that the gents and ladies, the youth, to sit on either side,

in the first block, leaving a pathway in the middle allowing Him to move through them giving them a closer glance and a coveted snap with the Divine. And they literally seized upon the greater opportunity swooping unto Him like natural bees swooped unto exotic flowers. That made the moments in their life that they would remember as most cherished possession.Simultaneously three day work-shop for the Youth was on from 18th onwards, wherein various speakers shared their experience and wisdom guiding the youth to help them mould into Ideal Sai Youth. Youth is not a mere term that spells the vibrant, energetic years in one’s life, but has a greater meaning wherein one necessarily understand his social responsibilities and work towards a better new world order, while individually transforming his own self.
