HOW TO BE CLOSER TO GOD. PROF A.K To feel wanted and be loved is one of the natural feelings inhumans. When we are close to our friends and relative we feel happyand wanted, especially if we are meeting them after a gap of time. The warmth of human affection comforts like a fireplace in winter. Closeness to our loved ones- ( spouse...gives) children, grandchildren and other dear ones gives us much happiness and joyand makes us expand with joy... Closeness is an expression ofconcern and longing for the beloved. When one is near a

fan in summer or a heater in winter, thecloseness brings coolness and warmth, making us comfortable. A cosyseat on a flight similarly makes us happy, at least physically. Being near to physical objects like a fan or heater gives usconvenience and soothes us. Being close to a friend or contemporaryis friendship or association. Thus closeness means many things-friendship,affection and association withfriends, relatives, classmates and peers. But with God, it is vastly different. If a person claims that he /she is close to God or to Baba, he / she is a delusion. It reflectspride and ego. The simple explanation is that God is not an objector a person; God is a phenomenon. Hence to claim " I am close toGod" is sheer ignorance. We will continue this topics soon. (Sharing with Sai Love) Ram.Chugani
