Holding fast to Truth, you must make Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-violence, the guide posts for your life

 

 

 

How can inner peace be spread and promoted by anyone? It is something that can be experienced, but it cannot be passed from one person to another. The most that can be done is to show the way to others and tell them of its sweetness. You cannot appease another person’s hunger by eating his food for him! The diner alone derives satisfaction from the dinner. Shanti, too, is like that: each has to earn and experience it for themselves, so that all may have it. Love and fortitude are enough to confer that peace. But you should not concentrate on mere outward show; let these virtues saturate your thought, word and deed; that is the way to establish world peace also.
