Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM " Man wants the gift, not the giver The created, not the creator Things from the hand, but not the hand! " Sai Baba I read the message of Baba which Simona had forwarded to me and I spent long moments gazing at the Hand of Baba in the picture that accompanied the saying. No! Baba,I want Your hand in my hand, no gift, no nothing except Your hand! I sincerely retorted to My sweet Sairama Krsna was celebrating his 27th birthday in Linkebeek and I had come to Belgium to celebrate this happy event with him. Though I had brought a very cute birthday present for him from Mauritius, the mother's heart wished to offer roses to the darling son, mama's baby at 27! After second thoughts, I gave up the idea because my daughter in law would certainly find such a gesture 'freaky' coming from a mother She was the one privileged to offer roses, not me. O Baba will I ever cease to be a mother in love and behave as a mother in law?! The birthday celebrations culminated in the dominical Bhajan Session at the Sai Centre of Brussels this thursday evening.Krsna drove me to the city centre and we both joined in an awe-inspiring satsang where we offered the most heart probing bhajans to Baba. We partook in vibhuti, chai and sweetmeals prasadam, bid our Sairam and left after the session. 'Ohe! Sairam! are you still there?' a voice called out from the third floor, where the bhajans were held, when we were climbing down the last flight of stairs.'We have some flowers for you! ' Krsna turned on his heels and ran upstairs He returned with a bouquet of exotic pink roses! I could not beleive my eyes! I asked for the Hand and the Divine Mother offered pink roses to Krsna as a birthday present! The most incredible thing of all, we did not utter a word about his birhday to our Belgian Sai family! My daughter in law was overwhelmed to arrange the roses in a crystal vase which she placed on the table of her lounge. 'Wow! Sai Baba has sent roses for Krsna,!' she blissfully exclaimed.
