Guest guest
Revered friends received following from Sri Nagi It questions - Can there be eternal life even for the likes of Hanuman? It is an unusual question - the answer perhaps lies in the fact that Shruti has more authority than Smriti (puranas) - what do you all make of this issue? Chelluri <Chelluri 13 February 1999 20:24 Dharma Sandeham om Namaskarams! Sri Krishna in Gita says " JATASYA DHRUVAM MRITU " In puranasa Sri.Vyasa Maharishi mention seven chiranjeevulu (Markandeya, Bali, Hanuman etc. Is it not contrary to what Krishna says. Is it not against nature for one to be chiranjeevi? Could you please post my doubt for the opinion of esteemed members. Nagy
Guest guest
Nagi ur questions r not clear. I think u r asking can anyone have a eternal life . If yes than isn't it against the nature to have it . Anyone can have eternal if one wants n does practices required for it. But there is always a purpose behind a birth if that is fulfilled than wat for will one live in bodly form. One is always there as Atmaa. And the devaas like Hanuman or those who have attained mokshaa they can take birth according to their wish n whereever they want. Guest guest
Om Thanks Anurag. The question is simple. Not a Yaksha Prasna! Jatasya Dhruvam Mrituh. Whoever is born from a womb has to die. How is Aswthama, Markendeya etc. conquered mrithu and become chiranjeevis. The question is " Is it not against prakruti? " Nagy
Guest guest
is it necessary that one be born frm womb ? Anyone born will give up this body or present physical form some day or the other either it will degrade by itself or one will give it up by oneslf ( Icchha Mrityu ) One can install Amrit Kalash in one's body like Ravana. If one's Kundalini is full awakenend than one gains Icchha Mrityu by itself. Why do u think it is against prakriti ? Anurag On Mon, 15 Feb 1999 Chelluri wrote: > Chelluri > > Om > Thanks Anurag. The question is simple. Not a Yaksha Prasna! > > Jatasya Dhruvam Mrituh. Guest guest
In a message dated 99-02-16 14:46:27 EST, you write: << Icchha Mrityu >> as I understand is not eternal. The meaning of these two words - Death at desired time Chiranjeevi is against the natural law. Anything born has to extict. It is a question of when.
