Further to the message from Sri Kathiji about role of females in the Sri

Ramakrishna movement.

We can only relate to our own experience in this matter. The Vivekananda Centre

deals with large number of youngsters in England. Last year out of 25 youngsters

who sat for London University examination on Hinduism - 21 were girls. Out of

the four boys who sat for the exams three failed! We are really very worried for

the boys. Our own experience shows that the next generation of active devotees

of Sri Ramakrishna will be overwhelmingly female.
