Guest guest
sanjaych writes It is difficult to blow away the problems in life unless one has transformed his life into a divine life. Most of us have not done that. Every day is a struggle, both at home and outside. Relationships are falsified now and then, and despite realising their falsity, we continue mending them, pampering them. What is the way out? Harassed by the joys and sorrows of life, we can pursue a life of renunciation. But, that is not the way Sri Thakur has shown us. He has shown how a Grihasta can effectively reach the same destination as a recluse. So, how do we face these problems every day? How can we transform people around us so that they begin to shed the selfishness in their minds? What should be our attitude barring pure indifference and disinterestedness towards those we interact with? Here is one answer: Swami Prabhavananda told us, " Don't try to see God in the character of a person. If you see wickedness there, the wickedness is not God. Behind the character, behind the name and form, is the presence of God.. ..You cannot change the world. Pray for everybody. But by praying for everybody, you help yourself. Transform yourself.
