" Tim, if you are saying that everyone, including this Master, is under the sway of Maya, so unable to prevent every possible mistake; that he believed some village superstitions which are not scientfically supportable, etc., no problem. But if I take your statement literally, I have to beg to differ. If you think this, read SRI RAMAKRISHNA, THE GREAT MASTER and imagine what his 12 years of sadhana must have done to his mind. In fact, your statement is self-contradictory. If you do not doubt his Enlightened status, you realize that his insight came from beyond the " mind " , don't you? Do you have evidence that he might be mistaken in saying that spiritual consciousness cannot be attained without the awakening of Kundalini?
