Guest guest
Namaste! As I recently wrote to a friend of mine, we must never take ourselves seriously, particularly when it comes to any so-called progress we may THINK we have made spiritually. That's fool's gold since the ego-mind can never recognize true spiritual progress. So, we are, in a way, like Moses who takes his people to the promised land, but never gets there himself...our ego never really gets to enjoy the fruits of our spiritual progress since by its very nature, it is encased in maya. In a way, the fruits of spiritual practices are anticlimactic to the ego since the true blessings and the fruits of yoga appear " ordinary " to the ego. We are not the judges of our progress. Nor are we the judges of anyone else's progress. God doesn't judge. Only the human mind judges. God just IS and through spiritual practices we can tap into that " ISNESS " and open our hearts to receiving. To a grateful heart is bestowed the gifts of Spirit; to a grateful heart, God's grace knows no limits; to a grateful heart comes the peace that passeth all understanding. It is important for us to remember that under all the personalities and human qualities is The One. God dwells within us as us. There is no other.
