Guest guest
We at the Vivekananda Centre have been preparing candidates to sit for London University examinations on Hinduism. These GCSE examinations are meant for 16 year olds. The candidates we have been preparing from all over England range in ages from eight year olds to a 57 year old granny. We have had great deal of fun preparing for the examinations and some of the answers we have seen in the tests are sometimes very profound and quite often hilarious. (We will share these with you later on). Today in a short time about 90 of these candidates begin to arrive at a Roman Catholic school in Greenford in London to sit for the written examination. There will be an atmosphere of carnival -- all various Vivekananda Centre candidates get a chance to meet each other - eye up the competition and so on. We have a good record of taking up all the top grades from the University. The real competition is for A star grade. Only the top three percent candidates can have these. So there is friendly rivalry between our Leicester Birmingham and London classes regarding where these Stars will end up! All this fun and games are happening by the grace of our master Sri Ramakrishna! jay
