Women tend to use *both* sides of the brain equally. The actual construct of the brain is very similar in men and women. Women's brains tend to be smaller (because the size of the skull tends to be smaller), but they also tend to contain more neurons (packed closely together), thus balancing out the fact of a smaller brain.
