Guest guest
'Ramakrishna' the nativity play that we performed at the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre in London last Christmas seems to have travelled well in other parts of the world. We had received around 10 requests for the play from different parts of the world. The Colorado Asharam just sent us this interesting reaction:- ---------------------- Thank you Jay and everyone. I especially appreciate your collective sense of humor -- that is why i put a humor page on our site, sometimes one can get a little too serious and into our (very serious) " spiritual journey " like Hazra in the Gospel! I am putting a link to your site on our humor page as well as our regular links page. I laughed out loud at parts of your play. I do not find humor dis-respectful at all -- like so many things, it can be so, then we move away from it -- and then as if we are travelling in a circle, we come back to it -- but with a 'higher' understanding and a different attitude. Those close to God can sport with him and tease him, and why not? i want God to be my all, I want to play 'all the notes on the flute' as my guru says. I could just picture the children doing the play! Namaste, Karen Westend Ashram at Colorado Springs --------------------------------
