Guest guest
Hello Everybody ! Swami Yogeshananda Hari Om! Dear Jody, That story of the boy and his umbrella was so, so nice ! Having said that, and, at the risk of belabouring my point; I should like to add one more little 'thought' to the discussion, concerning the definition of 'Hinduism'. If we see a man in a dhoti, sitting crosslegged on a street corner in Calcutta, engaged in the worship of his sandals, he will be recognized as a 'Hindu'. If you or I sit down, at one of our busy city intersections in North America, performing exactly the same puja, will people call us 'Hindus' ? ......Or will they transport us to the nearest Psychiatric ward for treatment ? Bye the way, this is a very auspicious day in world history ! On August 1st, 1834, slavery is abolished in the British Empire.
