I find it to be an excelant service to all of us if wav file or

mp3/midi file is made. This being a simple voice, mono recording

with

min. sample rate etc. may not take more than 10MB a file size which

can

be handled. Further if it is a chanting and repeatation of the

same,

only a part can be recoded and sent we can reconstruct it later or

can

be sent in cut form etc. We are eager to listen to the file. Pranam

The material in question [20 minutes of chanting by students of

the Integral Yoga Institute, under the direction and participation

of Swami Satchidananda], cannot be sliced up.

 

This is a piece of recorded music and voice, that takes the

participant/listener on a journey through different levels,

reaching a crescendo...then settling down again to a slow chant.

 

The beneficial effect can only be really experienced, when the

work is heard in it's entirety.

 

No matter how we do it, this is going to be a monster file

to download...of that I am sure. However, I am expecting

a visit from my son, within the next couple of weeks....

he will know what to do.

 

I am only a little baby in the world of computers, internet

downloads, FTP, HTML....but I am learning slowly.

 

Thank you for your knowledgeable input, Sarada...... I will keep

your message on file, to show to my son, when he drops by.

Only the most skillful 'looping' will remain undetected

by the listener. If it is noticed, the concentration will

be broken by these distractions.
