Guest guest
karen i remembered a incident of two tantrik's. One Tantrik was trying to call mother kaali in her eight froms by force. As he neared the end of sadhana a warning came to him that if he will not stop his head will burst. He didn't listen n his head burst in to pieces. The other Tantik sat will all love towards mother. As he too neared the end of sadhana. Mother started threatening him. She came in her most furious form to cut of his head. He said mother if u want this head take it. And immediately mother kaali appeared before him in all eight forms n showered him with blessings. He asked abt his friend whose head burst up. To that mother replied that he was not behaving properly but anyway i will fulfill his wish in next birth. Guest guest
Thank you Anurag! that lifted my spirits! They say in the Tibetan book of the Dead that the deities appear in terrifying form, but one must not be afraid - then one sees they are really benign. I think facing our thoughts and fears perhaps is like that also. I also especially like the part in your story about the tantrik's head bursting into pieces!! That's a real " tantric " image (vivid!) :-) -- Karen Anurag Goel wrote: > Anurag Goel <anurag > > karen i remembered a incident of two tantrik's. Guest guest
yes karen face them n they r n more. When we have something to loose we have something to fear abt. That's wat i think. Appearance of diety in furious form is to test whether we r still attached to our body or not. Can we give up our life if lord asks so ? If yes then that's true love. Karen that was a real incident abt two tantriks. Nice to know that u liked it . Generally people get scared even at mention of name tantra. Even i got sort of sacred when i saw a tantirk closely for the first time . One of my Guru bhaai (brother) did face this test n he passed with flying colours.
