Guest guest
Hari Om! Dear Karen, My tiny ego has been consigned to oblivion. But, like a pimple, it could come back ! The same thing goes, with 'saving' all our comments in file folders. The foolishness we utter may come back to haunt us. That sort of reminds me of a quote from Thakur: " Have you ever noticed that, when a paper and pencil is placed before an idiot, the first thing he does, is start to write. " I will be deleting all past messages sometime this weekend. That is my plan. Clean out all the email accounts and start fresh. There is always 'better stuff' coming up around the corner, which renders redundant, the copious amounts of 'filed' past thoughts. When I think of files and scrolls, I remember the Talmudic scholars, who were poring over dusty manuscripts; looking for elusive clues, while their Messiah was being nailed to a Roman cross. Anyway, such is life ! om shanthi om ____ 123India - India's Premier Search Engine Get your Free Email Account at http://www.123india.com

Hey, pimples are part of life! :-) > > The same thing goes, with 'saving' all our comments in file folders. > The foolishness we utter may come back to haunt us. Yes, but all the stuff of yours I saved was good stuff. It's a habit I acquired very young. My mother put everything in plastic bags, now I have to file everything in folders. I now am a full-time geek and spend my days manipulating little bits of mental information into other mental conceptual containers. And I actually get paid for it! > > > That sort of reminds me of a quote from Thakur: > > " Have you ever noticed that, when a paper and pencil is placed before an idiot, the first thing he does, is start to write. Now THAT is humbling!! :-) > > I will be deleting all past messages sometime this weekend. > That is my plan. Clean out all the email accounts and start > fresh. It is true. Honestly, I like your directness. I used to read alot of spiritual books -- for many many years. Nowadays, when I read it is for " spiritual company " more than finding " an answer " . Same reason I participate in this list. I enjoy the company of all of you. It does not even matter if we all agree; I enjoy to see the infinite variety of God's devotees!
