Thursday 9/9/99

 

The Master Said:

 

" God is engaged in three kinds of activity:

creation, preservation and destruction.

Death is inevitable. All will be destroyed at the time of dissolution.

Nothing will remain. At that time the Divine Mother

will gather up the seeds for the future creation,

even as the elderly mistress of the house

keeps in her hotchpotch-pot little bags of cucumber seeds,

'sea-foam', blue pills, and other miscellaneous things.

The Divine Mother will take her seeds out again

at the time of the new creation. "

Ramana Sarma:

 

 

Though He makes us think of Him during times of

suffering to relieve us from the sufferring, I feel that we are more

fortunate If He makes us think of Him even during armchair comfort. We

do not know how His Lila works.

feet of the Destroyer of Cupid.

'Doing good to the world' is a positive aim in itself, but, may be, the

second best option. It cannot lead a person to total Fulfillment. In an

attempt to reach the Everest lower peaks are easily conquered; but if

the aim is to scale the lower peak alone, the Everest can never be

reached. ...

" Man cannot really help the world. God alone does that -

He who has created the sun and the moon, who has put love

for their children in parents' hearts, endowed noble souls

with compassion, and holy men and devotees with divine love.

The man who works for others, without any selfish motive,

really does good to himself. "

The solution is simple. All languages to be written

in the most wonderfully simple Devanagari script.

This is a phonetic syllabary suited to all tongues.

work as a doctor, nevertheless is still not satisfied with his

contribution to the world, but who then sits down and writes and

writes to inspire others to God-aspiration!

" Anyone and everyone cannot be a guru.

A huge timber floats on the water and can carry animals as well.

But a piece of worthless wood sinks, if a man sits on it,

and drowns him. Therefore in every age,

God incarnates Himself as the guru, to teach humanity.

SatchidAnanda alone is the guru. "
