Guest guest
It is an amazing date indeed, of 4 '9s'! '9' symbolizes 'creation' or 'new birth' and '4' symbolizes 'manifestation'. It implies the beginning of the 'new birth' of the Divine in the erring human consciousness, marking the same with a visible 'manifestation' even at the level of 'physical consciousness'. A lie in such a situation is much higher.
Guest guest
How about the monk saying to the butcher, " Look I'm a monk and I can't tell a lie and I can't be a party to a killing; therefore, I can't tell you whether or not the cow passed by or in what direction it went. Guest guest
I think the problem will occur in monk's holding himself to " not speaking lie " n that " he is a monk " . Guest guest
Edith, I like this solution! Of course, it might get the monk beaten up as well, but his integrity would be preserved!
