Guest guest
Since Rakkal was deeply involved in spiritual practices, he did not concentrate in studies. He was sixteen at that time. His father was very much worried about it. So he thought that if Rakkal is married, then he might concentrate on wordly affairs. So Rakkal was married to a girl named Visveshwari. At that time, Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna was very popular among the people of bengal. Devotees thronged to dakshineshwar to meet the Thakur. Shyamasundari, mother of Visveshwari, and her son Manmohan mitra were devotees of Thakur. These two later arranged for the first meeting of Rakkal with Thakur. Even before Rakkal met Thakur, Thakur had some visions about his future disciple. Once Thakur prayed to Jaganmatha, " O Mother, I want somebody to be always with me. Please send me one person, who has pure heart and deep devotion towards you.
