The Master Said:

" He who is attributeless also has attributes.

Re: Swami Vivekananda speaks.......

God does not do anything. He is Nirguna (without attributes), Nirakara

(without form), pure conciousness that breathes life into Natrure

(material+energy). It is inherent in the Nature to take birth, grow, decay

and die and the cycle goes on. God has fixed this rule so that whatever

emanates from Him, comes back to Him after full manifestation. Whatever

we

see all around is the usual course taken by Nature. Maybe the degeneration

of the Universe and Mankind is more manifest in the current phase than

creation and growth.

Comment:

'Brahman' has no attributes according to Vedantic reasoning.

However, when we use the 'All Encompassing' term, 'God',

we must agree with Thakur's words :

Excerpted from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna p.209

The Master Said:

" God is engaged in three kinds of activity:

creation, preservation and destruction.

Excerpted from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna p.1O7

The Master Said:

" He who is attributeless also has attributes.

He who is Brahman is also Shakti. When thought of as inactive,

He is called Brahman, and when thought of as Creator, Preserver,

and Destroyer, He is called the Primordial Energy, kAli. "

Excerpted from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna p.150

The Master Said:

" Therefore I say that in the light of VedAntic reasoning

Brahman has no attributes. The real nature of Brahman

cannot be described. But so long as your individuality

is real, the world is also real, and equally real are

the different forms of God and the feeling that God is a Person. "
