Guest guest
The discussions are not fruitless...it helps to educate people like us who are not in touch with the religious rituals. I am not much of a religious fanatic but whatever little I know of the Master Ramakrishna he also stressed how a sansari can attain God. That, can be done by various ways and one of them is being in pious and good company. Guest guest
Guhaji when we r all set to one to one with lord then it's seems so foolish to think this is good this is bad. i am this i am that. One says to oneself stop ur foolish behaviour n dissolve urself n enjoy this bliss. We surrender to someone when we love him/her. When we surrender to lord then we do so in love. one cuddles up at his feet just like a little child. before lord intellectuallity doesn't work wat he wants is just love. But i think in all other things we can't do away with intellectuality. Guest guest
I think we are forgetting that Ramakrishna himself encouraged logical discussions and advised us to practise discrimination. What else than intellect should help us discriminate and realise God through negation ('neti, neti')? Everything we have (including intellect) is a gift of God and we have the onus on us to use it to perform our duties and to reach God. And to know what our duties are we again need intellect. - Anurag Goel <anurag <Ramakrishna > Thursday, November 04, 1999 11:48 PM Re: [ramakrishna] Brain stuff > Anurag Goel <anurag > > > Guhaji when we r all set to one to one with lord then it's seems so > foolish to think this is good this is bad. i am this i am that. > One says to oneself stop ur foolish behaviour n dissolve urself n enjoy > this bliss. > > We surrender to someone when we love him/her.
