When someone has found an oasis in the desert, does another person go about

trying to discover an oasis all over again?

 

Not for me the `neti, neti' of the pioneer. I hope to ride on faith in the

Guru and belief in His teachings. Only I know the bliss experienced from

this. I only entreat members to strive for bhakti, the way in this Kali

yuga. - Guha

I think we are forgetting that Ramakrishna himself encouraged logical

discussions and advised us to practise discrimination. What else than

intellect should help us discriminate and realise God through negation

('neti, neti')? Everything we have (including intellect) is a gift of God

and we have the onus on us to use it to perform our duties and to reach God.

And to know what our duties are we again need intellect.
