Dear Madhava,

Thank you for the correction to my incomplete knowledge of the life of Sri

Ramakrishna. I admit that I haven't studied his life too closely, although

I believe he was an Avatar, an incarnation of Shiva (just a look at some

pictures of him have me in awe). My interest is more in his primary

disciple, Swami Vivekananda.

HariH OM,

Dear Tim;

No problem. You are absolutely right in your (make it " our " ) belief that

the Great Paramahamsa is an avatara. Let me remind you that Lord Vishnu,

being the Almighty himself, during the Krishna avatar accepted Maharshi

Sandipany as his teacher, during the Rama Avatar accepted Vishvaamitra as

his teacher.

I just wanted to make a note, that's all. I like reading your articles and

I fully respect your points. Keep going.

Love,

Madhava
