Guest guest
Hi friends, Another poem! Oh, No. Yes please! MAYA MAYA, may I know you! Are you the will of God, Or the love of my chosen Ideal, Are you the satisfaction of 'Form with Attributes', Or vanishing trick of 'Formless'? You are one moment in this endless Time; MAYA, may I know you! Are you the Divine dance of Radha, The inexplicable Leela of Krishna, Are you the blissful simplicity of Vrindavan, Or the terrifying annihilation of Kansa? You are bewitching, always with two possibilities!; MAYA, may I know you! Are you Poison for Socrates, And Meera as well, Are you devotion of a bhakta, Or Jnana of a Jnani? Like a diamond you have multiple facets; MAYA, may I know you! Are you the joy of birth, Or fear of death, Are you the beauty of damsels of Heaven Or rage of the dreadful hell? You are the illusion of dialectics this universe; MAYA, may I know you! You come in my ways, Like a veil you separate me into two, I am limited ego on one side, And Universal Self on the other, You are the Play of this Infinite Brahma, But all the same you are fascinating. MAYA, may I know you! dr c s shah -- =^=^=^=^=^ E-magazine on science and spirituality.
