Dear Friends,

Here is a pride to every Chenni-aite and Indian too. The renovated Vivekananda

House along the Beach Road in Chennai has been converted into a beautiful

exhibition dedicated to Indian Culture.

An amazing exhibition with panels giving details of various aspects of Indian

culture starting from the vedic period. There is a separate section with some

superb pictures of Vivekananda - which might be of interest to even someone not

interested in the works of the Swami for the clarity and the depth in the black

and white photos more than hundred years old!!

The exhibition was inaugurated on 20/12/99.The timings are 9 - 12:30a.m. and 3 -

6:00p.m. Wednesday is the weekly holiday.

Next time you are in the vicinity, make it a point to visit this place and

spread the word around too.
