Guest guest
Hello, I got his as a part of another message on the Vivekananda Mailing List run by ananta <sarada. When I read through the text I though these were the words of Swami Vivekananda. I was surprised to see the name of Nelson Mandela at the end. There words are unadultered Vedanta !! Hail Vedanta, the universal religion. Hail Vedanta the core of all religions. With love, Gomu. Forwarded message: Tue, 21 Dec 1999 05:58:26 -0500 ananta <sarada .... Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, " Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? " Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others. -- from the inaugural speech of Nelson Mandela -- ---------- Email: gomu Phone: +91 80 6689904 Webpages: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/1863 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Forum/2973 ----------
