Why Yagyaas ?

I was reading a article on Yagyaas. It is quite interesting.....

 

Again i am translating it from Hindi to English.

 

 

The tradition of Yagyaas in India has been an undivisible part of our

society and the importance of these has always been accepted with

authenticity and truth.

 

In todays world people may think of it as an act of burning some things

but such thinking of people seems to be as ignorant as the thinking

of a person who is ignorant to agriculture may get it on seeing a peasant

planting the seeds in the soil of a farm.

 

 

Why is that Havans and Yagyaas are performed ?

 

 

Peasant plants the seeds with great effort in farm soil but no one can

gaurantee him that he will get back the grain for sure but then also the

industrious peasant keeping a faith in lord has been performing his duty

since ages. He believes that every grain mixed with farmsoil will be

returned in multitudes of thousand.

 

 

Same is the case with Yagyaas. Peasant's Yagya is " Paarthiv Yagya " and

this Yagya is " Tejas Yagya " ! If One is materialistic ( Aadhibhouthik )

then the other one is spiritual ( Aadhideivik)! but both are farmers.

If the fruit of one is the short lived hunger satisfying heap of food

grains then the fruit of second is the eternal bliss obtained from the

blessings of Gods. But both are farmers.

 

 

DEVTAA ARE PRESENT IN SUKSHMA DEH ( SUBTLE BODY ), BECAUSE OF THIS LIQUID

( DRAVYA ) OR THE ARTICLES ( SAAMAGRI ) are converted to SUKSHMA

FORM ( SUBTLE FORM ) BY OFFERING THEM TO FIRE ACCORDING TO SPECIFIED

RULES.

 

The physical part of the article which was offered to fire stays back on

earth in the form of ashes. A mixture of physical-subtle part takes the

form of Yagya-Dhumra ( Yagyaa-Smoke) spreads in the atmosphere. This

Yagya-Dhumra later gets converted in to cloud and come sback to earth

in the water form. In addition to this the subtlest part of Havan-Saamagri

which was occured due to the burning of Saamagri goes to Gods and

satisfoes them.

 

 

According to the " SATUHLA SUKSHMAVAAD SIDDHANT " every " ansh " takes rest

only after reaching it's " anshi " ( The basic originator whose ansh is

that). A stone thrown in air becomes stable only after reaching the earth.

Running water become stable only after merging in to it's originator (

Aadim Udagam Samudra ) ocean. Similarly each offering to the sacrifical

fire doesn't end unless it reaches the Sun which is the basic originator

(Aadim Mula) of the all the fiery substances ( Tejas Pdaarthon ) which

fill this universe.

In other words if each offering is offered to fire according to prescribed

rules then it gets established in Sun. According to " Surya Vigyaan "

(Science of Sun ) all the energy is obtained from Surya.

 

 

According to " Padaarth Vigyaan " just as the grain mixed with soil in a

prescribed manner becomes hundred fold, in the same manner a substance

mixed in liquid becomes thousand fold and the one offered to

fire becomes million fold. The spread of a substance on coming in contact

with fire can be felt by this example that when red chilli come in contact

with fire then the smell of it goes to some 100 feets and causes the

people to sneeze. In villages the smell of baking of sugar cane juice

makes the mouth watery. A substance becoming a million fold on coming in

contact with fire means the same here.

 

 

In the same way the substances which are offered to fire in Yagyas and

Havans become infinite fold and satisfying Gods in the end they become

available to the doer in the form of various pleasures.
