Guest guest
Namaste Jay, You mentioned: " 'Spirituality' as a subject has a difficult task ahead if it is to survive the next millennium. " Can Spirituality be reduced to mathematical formulae? Sri Ramakrishna had an aversion to mathematics, bordering on the psychotic.....and I know exactly how he felt about it, 'cause I feel the same aversion. In grade 9 [my last year of formal schooling], I earned a 10/100 for geometry and algebra, two subjects forver beyond my grasp. And yet, I eaned 86/100 for Latin Poetry. Can you explain that? My reason for mentioning this insignificant fact, is simply to emphasize the message of Thakurji, which states that we SHOULD NOT REASON TOO MUCH! Worrying about how the 'subject' of spirituality is going to survive the next millenium is, as far as this humble soul is concerned, a colossal waste of precious time. om shanthi om ____ 123India - India's Premier Search Engine Get your Free Email Account at http://www.123india.com
