Guest guest
Sue will not be able to continue posting the Avadhuta Gita for some time and Jay has asked if I would do so for her. She had contributed through Chapter 2, verse 5 and was using Swami Chetanananda's translation. I will continue from there, and occasionally will add Swami Ashokananda's translation when the difference is observable and of interest. Chapter 2, Verse 6, Swami Chetanananda: I am without constituent parts, so I am worshipped by the gods. Since I am that integral Being, I do not acknowledge differences between gods (such as Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva). Chapter 2, Verse 6, Swami Ashokananda: Thus I, free from all components, am worshipped by the gods, but being full and perfect, I do not recognize any distinctions such as gods and the like.
