Similarity and Differences

I think we need to understand what CREATION really means. To me, it

means " bringing something into existence that didn't exist before. " Thomas

Elva Edison brought the concept of a light bulb into existence. That concept

did not exist before him in this civilization. If there were no new creation,

there would not be any progress.

We CREATE a thought when we bring it into existence in a new unit of time.

The exception would be when the mind is doing this on an automatic basis

without the awareness of the spirit.

The question is, should I be identifying myself with the mind, or shall I

accept myself as the manifestation of Brahman that I am.

It is generally accepted that it is ignorance to identify oneself with the

body. To me it would also be an ignorance to identify oneself with the mind.

The mind is just much an instrument as the body, though it may appear to be

alive like a clever computer program.

Vinaire

Re: Similarity and Differences

I dont think we as human beings have the power to 'create'. The power

to create is only with the Lord alone. We can only 'discover' what already

exists.

For example Newton did not 'create' the ' Law of Gravitation' It

already existed. He only discovered it.

Even in the creative fields like Art, Music,Literature etc even the

most 'creative' work is nothing but a means to express what is already

manifest using some medium

( through words, shapes,sounds,etc)

In fact it is the Lord who is present in us who has given us the power

to act and express ourselves. So u see we r very small creatures when u try

to compare with the powers of the Lord.
