Guest guest
Question from Daksha Patel: “My History teacher told us that research has shown that even at times of famine in India Swami's are well fed. IS THIS TRUE? YES OR NO).” ANSWER: NO. A Swami is one who focuses on contributing to the society rather than on personal consumption. This is simply because OUTFLOW IS HOLIER THAN INFLOW. The Swamis could be well taken care of by the society because they are contributing so much to the society, and the society considers them valuable. But a wrong impression is possible if one has encountered unscrupulous persons pretending to be “Swamis.” If your History teacher is creating the impression that all Swamis are freeloaders, then that impression is incorrect. That could very well be the teacher’s bias against efforts to enlighten others. But that seems strange for a teacher. All Swamis are teachers.
