Guest guest
I agree with Daksha about social evils afflicting women in India. I do not know if Ramakrishna Missions are not speaking out actively enough against the such social evils in India. But I do know that they definitely stand against evils, such as, sati, dowry death, rape in police stations and poverty. Such practices are the outcome of the moral and spiritual depravity that many suffer in India and around the world. The objective of the Ramakrishna Missions is to eliminate that depravity by bringing about spiritual enlightenment. We have the knowledge and also the good intentions. But we lack in our efforts to disseminate that knowledge effectively. The answer is to recognize this situation and to add our efforts toward conquering these social evils in India and the rest of the world. I am glad to see that young people like Daksha are becoming more aware of such social responsibilities that confront us all.
