Guest guest
Statement by Prashanth: “Dharma is that which makes man seek happiness in this world or the next. Dharma is established on work. Dharma is impelling man day and night to run after and work for happiness.” The above is a very interesting observation. Actually, one may look at “Dharma” as those rules that make the Game of this universe most sane. As one deviates from Dharma, the quality of this Game deteriorates toward insanity. Statement by Prashanth: “What is Mukthi? That which teaches that even the happiness of this life is slavery…” May I clarify that Mukhti does not mean giving up the Game of this Universe. Mukthi simply is the giving up the ATTACHMENT to this universe. You may play the game as much as you want, just don’t get attached to it. Because by getting attached you limit yourself by your own postulates. Renunciation is a process by which one attains Mukthi (gives up ATTACHMENT). But after attaining Mukthi you simply get involved in the Game with increased vigor. Renunciation was never the goal, it was only the process. The “Goal” has been to play the Game of the Universe in the sanest way possible (by applying Dharma). A misunderstanding of this did make India weak and conquerable by adharma.
