Guest guest
Arun, No, it is not necessary to explain yourself further. I just felt I needed more data to fully understand your question. My understanding is that cloning involves only one parent, and therefore, the parent's genes are duplicated. This is not as sophisticated as the natural scheme that requires two parents, and produces a progeny, hopefully, with genes that are an improvement above the genes of both parents. One parent cloning may suffer the same problems as one sees with inbreeding (this is my off-the-cuff hunch). Cloning would simply provide bodies for the spirit to inhabit. The only liabilities that I can imagine are those similar to inbreeding. Other problems would be people's own considerations about the morality of this kind of reproduction. This may shake up the long accepted roles and relationships among humans. The confusion generated may be quite unsettling. Sincerely, Vinaire Arun19 Hi Is is it a necessary to first answer what cloning means to me and why I need to know about it ? Will this condition repeat in future when I will ask any other question ?
