don't know Sanskrit so cannot help you with what actual words are used.

I did so? My response is, Because I have not realized the Absolute. When

I have reached it, the illusion will be gone. Quite right: as Swamiji

said, " Face the brute (of illusion)! " But until and unless that

realization, the experience, of the Absolute comes, there will be

illusion.

My viewpoint is slightly different from yours. I would rather say, " I approach

the Absolute

as I get rid of my illusions. " I would emphasize on keenly observing what is

there to

recognize the illusions, rather than avoiding what is there or withdrawing from

it.

 

I don't think that the realization of the Absolute is ever a one-shot deal.

There are many

steps to it, and each step has its own realizations.

 

Could you say that you are closer to the Absolute today than you were ten years

ago?
