Your conclusion implies duality.
Guest guest
Dear Kathi, By " Lord " I do not mean BRAHMAN. By " Lord " I mean PARMATMAN (Supreme Being). " Brahman is neither being nor non-being. " So you cannot refer to BRAHMAN as " Lord. " BRAHMAN is the ABSOLUTE POTENTIAL that is the source of all ATMANs, whether that ATMAN is a PARMATMAN (a Supreme Being), or a JIVATMAN (a human being). There is nothing that limits the number of ATMAN to just one who can reach the status of PARMATMAN . BRAHMAN is a POTENTIAL. BRAHMAN cannot create unless It manifests Itself as an ATMAN first. I do not care if the above would be called Advaita or Dvaita. But all my understanding rests on the above. I see the duality at the level of Being (Atman), but I do not see duality at the level of Absolute Potential (Brahman), simply because there is NOTHING manifested at that level. There CANNOT be a manifested non-duality. That would be self-contradictory.
