Guest guest
" Technically, the existence is that which is made up of matter, energy, space and time. Brahman and Atman are, therefore, beyond existence. " This means that matter, energy, space and time define the characteristics of anything that exists. Even a thought is a very fine form of matter that exists in mental space (awareness). Brahman and Atman are not even thought. Brahman and Atman do not have the characteristics of matter, energy, space and time. When you are trying to define Brahman to yourself, all you are doing is creating considerations (mental matter) that exists in your awareness (mental space). It is not Brahman. Actually, Brahman is THAT which is creating that consideration. I know this is difficult to understand, and maybe I should not be talking about it, because it can throw one's thingking into a loop. But I must answer the doubts raised by Jay. The above understanding comes from pure and simple observation. Observation is the basis of all Science and all Shruti. The above observation follows from Shruti. It is different in wordings only because it uses more modern terminology. In response to the questions raised by others, I hope that I would have the opportunity to define the terms, such as, matter, energy, space and time in greater detail.
