Guest guest
MEANING OF TRUE RELIGION He chose not the off-trodden path of a sanyasin, but one which bore the true stamp of his genius. For him, 'Religion' was that, which gave faith to its followers and self-respect to a nation, which created a power to feed and educate the poor; and which relieved the misery of those around. Mere retelling and recounting of the wisdom of India handed down by the sages and embodied in the Vedas and Upanishads was, according to him, not enough for the present-day world. He firmly believed and proclaimed that 'Each soul is potentially Divine'. His religion therefore, was meant to make man realize that "the real nature of man is divine, the aim of human life is to realize this divine nature and lastly all religions are essentially in agreement" Cont. ****** You are divine ! Let not your life be a contradiction of what you are. - Swami Chidananda (The Divine Life Society) *****
