Dear Jay,

Tell me how u can call 'space'

Dear Kedar

The idea of space, time and causation are very central to Hindu

philosophy.

Western world has similar ideas developed by German philosophers like Kant.

The position of modern physics is to say 'Space and Time ' are the

necessary

background to explain this universe. With Newton they were considered to

be

separate entities but with new Physics - Einstein's relativity they have

become fused as Space/time (cannot be treated or dealt with separately

any

more).

Dear Jay,

Let me start from the beginning. How will u define space, time and

causation. In what ways is 'time' and 'space' interelated. How was it

initially differentiated. And what is 'causation'.

Kedar.S.

Regarding the space, mind and time concept, could someone explain it as the

way Purusha Sukta sees it. I cannot seem to find a good explanation, but i

understand it has to do more with the concept of yagna, than just gods

offering something...
