Change of Rotation

Further response

Yes, there is ample evidence that earth's magnetic field has fluctuated and

switched directions in the very distant past. The evidence is found in

observing the natural magnetism found in rocks which showed different

orientation over long time periods. This is an acceptable scientific

theory. This may have come about by the change of direction in rotation of

the inner molten core in the formative periods.

The idea of the physical earth coming to a halt and rotating in reverse

direction is highly unlikely. Just to give you an idea - the equator is

whizzing around at about 1000 miles per hour. The atmosphere, the oceans,

seas are too whizzing along at such high speed - hence we do not notice that

we are actually rotating at such high speeds.

Can you imagine what would happen if the direction is reversed? You will

have 1000 miles per hour gales - forget about Bombay Paris Tokyo being

effected. The oceans will swill over the whole land mass!

Try and imagine what forces would be required to bring about such a change?

Slight variation in the distant gravitational forces of other planets cannot

achieve this.
