Guest guest
Adi Shankara Jayanti Today, 8th May - Hindus celebrate Adi Shankara birth anniversary. He propounded Advaita Vedanta (non-dualistic Vedanta). The perplexing questions of relationship between man, God and the universe as portrayed in most theologies always carry an element of 'arbitrariness. Advaita's explanation has an element of completeness not seen in other schools of philosophies (Hindu as well as Non-Hindu). Advaita portrays the grandest aspiration of mankind " Our true identity -- Our oneness with God " . It confers the highest dignity on mankind. jay Vivekananda Centre London
