Acupuncture

Many days back i read an article on Acupuncture. It said that the reasons

behind Indian Women wearing all that jwellery is Acupuncture (Piercing of

ear, nose, wearing jwellery etc). Besides adding to the beauty

these act as medicine to many diseases. Article said that Acupuncture is

something which Yogis got on the journey to Enlightment. Yogis come

across such things when in deep meditation. But as their main aim is to

realise the ultimate so they hardly concentrate on fully developing such

by products. Later when Buddha came and buddhists monks started travelling

to distant places for preaching its then that this art of healing went

along with them to other places. Monks had to travel large distances and

used to carry very small belongings long with them. So Acupuncture was a

solution to their health problems which they might face in the journey.

Along with buddhists monks Acupuncture travelled to China etc. There this

art of healing was looked in to seriously and much research was carried

out on it. And then came Acupressure. Still today China and other

oriental countries are carrying out further research in to these healing

therapies ( As i discovered through serach on internet).

 

 

Article was quite a detailed one but i am writting watever i am able to

recall.

My Views

Also in the discussion on the experiences during Kudalini Awakening

on one list people have mentioned the piercing of toungue etc. At that

time i was not able to figure out the things. But now i am able to justify

their experiences in the context of Acupuncture. I will narrate one of

the experiences of one friend of one person. Persons friend was a soldier

and they were in battle field. It so happened that bullet pierced through

his tongue and immediately there were kind of flashes out his hands

(Something like that, I don't remember exactly). I think people mentioned

that some tribal people go about for the piercing of the tongue etc.

 

 

Acupuncture, Acupressure has much to do with kundalini. Kundalini is the

most basic thing behind all these healing therapies.

 

 

Once a yogi showed me a point on my hand which he said if pressed in

proper way can vitalise whole body. Somae days back i was meditating and

afterwards yes that energy sort of acivated that point and at the centre

of the palm. Centre of the palm is also considered to be the point which

pressed properly according to the methods of acupressure will vitalise

whole body.
