Guest guest
Dear Jay, I felt quite happy to know your activities. I am sure the great masters will be pleased with your service. Yours, Madhava Vivekananda Centre [vivekananda] Monday, May 29, 2000 8:54 PM list; viv list [ramakrishna] activities Recent activities of the Vivekananda Centre. (1) We are very busy at the moment preparing about 150 candidates who will sit for Hinduism examinations in June. (2) We had two long day sessions at Luton and Southall Temples on the weekend. It is good to see a large number of parents attending these sessions. The learning process effects the whole family! (3) The University College London - Hindu students Union members are attending a retreat at the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre in Bourne End. The students asked me for a talk on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The talk went well. (Normally outside speakers are not allowed to give talks at Ramakrishna Vedanta Centres - it was nice to see this rule being relaxed). (4) We are gaining media publicity. Our interfaith meeting with Prince Charles helped. Some of the Gujarati papers have done a write up on our activities. Channel East recorded a programme about our classes on Sunday. Channel 5 has asked our youngsters to contribute towards a programme called 'The big Question'. jay Vivekananda Centre London ------ Big Groups = big savings @ beMANY! http://click./1/4112/3/_/411454/_/959684455/ ------ Sri Ramakrishnaye Namah Vivekananda Centre London http://www.btinternet.com/~vivekananda/
