Guest guest
Hi friends, After a long lurk, I wish to ask a few questions to any of you who might know the right answers. A couple of days ago, I got into an argument with a friend from India regarding the origin of the Aryans. He told me about the things taught in his school, college etc. But, being a serious Indologist, I know for certain, if the Aryans emigrated from Central Asia, some traits must and should have been left there...like the Vedes or Purans(sic), which is not the case. So my doubts about this particular route of the Aryans. Where does Sw.Vivekananda stand on this point? Could you please refer me to the particular talk/words?? And what do Indians, in general, feel about the origin of the Vedes or the other holy texts of Hinduism? And what has river Saraswati to do with all these findings?? Where is this river now?? -Neo
