Guest guest
I read one of the articles which descibes what Lyaa Yoga is. I am translating it from hindi to English. There is one story..... Father and son went to a market and from there they bought a donkey for carrying the load. Taking donkey along with them they sarted heading towards their village on foot. On the way people saw them and said - " What foolish people are these! They have a donkey and still they are travelling on foot " . When the teasing of people increased a lot then father made his son sit on the donkey. After walking a bit of distance people again teased them saying - " Look! Father is walking on foot and son is sitting on donkey, the time when elders used to be respected has elapsed " . When the teasing became unbearable for the son, he got down and made his father sit on the donkey. After sometime one more comment came - " young child is walking on foot and this person who is used to facing the hardships of life can't he walk on foot ? Its due to this attitude that old are no more respected. " After all this frustation both father and son decided to sit on donkey and thought now people wil,l not comment on them. But after travelling a bit....... " It seems the humaness in a human being has died, see how these two persons are loading a single living being, donkey. " This hard comment came forth. What is meant by this is that whatever a person may do even after putting his best efforts, one still has to listen to the comments, harsh words, of others. Disputeless life would rarely be possible for anyone and one a large part of ones energy, which should have been used in creative works, decays getting enegaged in useless disputes. It will be rare that there be someone who feels that he is living a all free life, a life of ease (means one takes the life as it comes). Every person has ones own privacy or a period of solitude through which one revitalizes the cells of ones brain and body. But does this happen easily for him. Here privacy and solitude doesn't mean the lonliness of a well decorated room. Solitudeness means the silence of mind and body (chitta). If mind is entagled in web of thoughts then neither the silence of a well decorated room nor does any mean of entertainment comfort us and give peace. to be contibued ....................
