Guest guest
I have recently found electronic books to be a convenient way for me to package all my reading and make it portable. Is anyone aware of Ramakrishna/Vivekananda related electronic materials that are freely available so that I may convert them into my native ebook format? Currently I have found the internet to be lacking in Hindu related source material. For example, Project Gutenberg has only the Yoga Sutras of Patajali available. That, and some various translations of the Bhagavad Gitas, are the basic extent of what I find. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but any help would be appreciated. Guest guest
Dear All, I started such a project of converting the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna in electronic form. This is at the site: http://www.geocities.com/namoma However, I typed in only the first six chapters and stopped, because I was under the impression that people browse the web only for short/pause reading. Does anyone really do " stretch-reading " electronically? Is it ever a good replacement for book-reading? Your inputs could prompt me to do further electronic availability ... By the way, you might be interested in the following links as far as Hinduism in general is concerned: -------------- FREE -------------- (a) Sanskrit Documents List http://sanskrit.gde.to/ (b) Entire Mahabharata Download http://bombay.oriental.cam.ac.uk/john/mahabharata/statement.html -------------- NOT FREE -------------- (a) Mahabharata by Rajaji http://www.indianproducts.com/bharat.htm Shivkumar Ramakrishna , " Ankur Goel " <akgoel@e...> wrote: > I have recently found electronic books to be a convenient way for me > to package all my reading and make it portable.
