Long back i read one of the articles on " States of Soul " .

Article said that there are four states of soul.

First one is the " Waking State " the state in which we carry out our day to

day activities.

2nd one is the " Dream State " the state in which the concous link of the

body with the outer world in not there.

( I was thinking it is being saud that both these states are unreal

beacause in either the existence of other is not there. But there is

something common in both these states. The " Iness " is present in both the

states. Someone who experiences is real. )

Extension of sleep is the " Deep Sleep " ( Sushupti), Dreamless state of

sleep. In it to the one who experiences is there.

Then comes the 3rd state. Death. Artile said it is also like a sleep. When

our body dies our " Atmaa along with mind goes in to sleep " and we awake

from this sleep when we take re-birth.

( I was thinking just as we hardly remember our dreams in the same manner

we don't remember our this 3rd state of sleep which occurs after death and

on waking up (re-birth) we don't remember what we experienced during

this state ). But some do remember the dreams of this sleep ( All

depends on an individual) .

Fourth State is the " Turiyaa State " . The state of bliss. Shree Ram

Krishna Paramhansa was an expert in " Bhava Samaadhi " . Shree Ram Krishna

Paramhansa has been in " Turiyaa State " innumerable no. of times.

Article said even after this state one more state exists called " Turiyaa

Atit State " ( Post-Turiyaa State ).
