Guest guest
Here are my preliminary thoughts in answer to your questions: 1. " The word " can be good and pure only when it is understood totally. 2. Gita can be understood better if you make sure that you understand each (underlined) word of each verse of Gita correctly. Never try to guess at the meaning of any word, or try to figure it out from the context. One's existing ideas usually creep in when one guesses at the meaning or tries to figure it out from the context. Thus, one's ideas do not change much even after reading Gita. You know you are becoming better when your understanding is changing. 3. The difference between man and man is most telling in their ability to convert their visions into actuality. - Vivekananda Centre <vivekananda Self Knowledge List <selfknow-l; list <Ramakrishna > Tuesday, July 18, 2000 5:54 AM [ramakrishna] Three questions > We received following interesting philosophic questions > > Can the list members throw any light on these topics? > jay > Vivekananda Centre London > ============ > > > Recd: 18 July 2000 08:29 > questions > > I want to ask some questions > > 1. Guest guest
1)The word is " good " when it is felt but left unspoken. It is " pure " when; with the mind kept in SELF, all actions are performed spontaneously and naturally. 2) The Gita can be understood better by PRACTICE. 3) There is no difference between Man and Man but thinking makes it so.
